Chopa Chef — Terms of Service for iOS

1) Agreement and acceptance

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Chopa Chef iOS application and any related websites, APIs, and services (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2) Who we are

The Service is operated by the developer/publisher of Chopa Chef (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). If you need our legal entity name and address, contact us and we will provide it.

3) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

4) Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5) Subscriptions, billing, and renewals (iOS / App Store)

Paid features may be offered via subscriptions. Subscriptions are processed by Apple via the App Store and may renew automatically unless cancelled. Pricing, billing periods, and renewal terms are shown in the App Store at the time of purchase and may vary by region and tax rules.

• Auto-renewal: if enabled, the subscription renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
• Cancellation: you can cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. Access to paid features typically continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: refund requests are handled by Apple and subject to their policies. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee refunds.

6) User content

You may submit content to the Service (for example, recipes, meal logs, text, images, or links) (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display your User Content solely to operate, maintain, improve, and provide the Service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit User Content and that it does not violate any law or third party rights. We may remove User Content if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms or is harmful.

7) AI features and reliability

The Service may include AI-assisted features (for example, recipe generation or meal image analysis). AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them, especially for allergies, dietary restrictions, food safety, and health-related decisions.

8) Health and nutrition disclaimer (not medical advice)

The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only and does not provide medical advice. We do not guarantee accuracy of nutrition estimates. If you have medical conditions, allergies, or dietary needs, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

9) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data.
• Reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service.
• Upload malware or attempt to bypass security or rate limits.

10) Third-party services

The Service may rely on third-party services (for example, cloud hosting, storage, AI providers, Apple, Google, and subscription infrastructure like RevenueCat). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.

11) Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy governs with respect to personal data.

12) Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service and other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Subscriptions must be cancelled through the App Store to avoid renewal.

13) Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from or related to your use of the Service.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for all claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

15) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

16) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by updating the “Last updated” date and/or providing in-app notice where appropriate). Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

17) Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is established, without regard to conflict of laws principles. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction still apply.
